We are 43 days into the process yet the sentencia eludes us. We have been told by our attorney Dr. Polo that our case is in the final stage and awaiting sentencia although it could come as many as 10 days from now. Tomorrow is another holiday in Bogota which means no courts and no progress. Monica will be staying in Bogota to finish up the process while I have to return home this coming weekend. We did not manage to get a blog post up last week due to the fact that Matthew got sick. As all you parents know, when the kids get sick, it is pretty much a given that the parents are right behind them. Monica and I both got the crud but we are both pretty much over it now. We took Matthew to the Doctor for a follow up visit on Friday. He is doing much better and weighed in at 15 lbs 11 oz. He is 26 " long as well. Matthew is a growing boy, that's for sure.
Matthew enjoys bedtime stories, he is very attentive and looks at all the pictures and words in the books. He also likes to watch Sesame Street videos with Elmo, Ernie, and Cookie Monster. He watched his first movie (The Muppet Movie) a few days ago. He actually watched the whole thing in one sitting which we were both amazed by. Matthew loves music. We sing songs to him all the time and he always reacts with a smile or a chuckle.
I'm happy that your health is better. I know how difficult is when everybody at the house is sick, the kids usually get better quicker than the adults.
